FSB Peggy and Fort Apache were home for the company, and things were fairly quiet.


December 4

FSB Apache was commonly called Fort Apache.  It was a small base located in Binh Tuy Province northeast of Bien Hoa.  Lower photo is James Marshall from Texas in the foreground and Gary Holden (artillery) from Pennsylvania.  (Identified by James Marshall)

December 14

In the only contact of the month, Charlie Company fired at two individuals.  Nobody was hurt, and all that was found was one small hootch with some documents.  (Source: Unit History Calendar Year 1970 2-5 Cav)
